We are seeking a Valuations Manager to join our team. This individual will support all areas of our practice: playing a critical role in both client-facing consulting work and audit support. Responsibilities:

• Lead valuation engagements for tax planning, corporate reorganizations, financial reporting, and shareholder transactions
• Act as the firm’s internal valuation expert on audit engagements, including the preparation and review of valuation-related audit documentation
• Prepare and review valuation models, reports, and memos in accordance with professional standards and firm best practices
• Collaborate with engagement managers and partners to deliver high-quality, timely client service
• Serve as a key client contact for valuation matters—understanding their business, industry, and strategic context
• Provide guidance and support to audit teams on complex valuation-related accounting issues, including fair value measurement and impairment assessments
• Participate in internal technical training and help mentor junior team members
• Contribute to business development initiatives, including identifying client needs, preparing proposals, and strengthening relationships

Qualifications:

• CPA and CBV designations required
• Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, with demonstrated experience in both valuation and audit
• Strong understanding of IFRS and Canadian Auditing Standards (CASs)
• Experience with the audit of publicly listed entities would be an asset
• Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to clients and team members
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deliverables within scope, timeline, and budget
• Strong interpersonal and client service skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly
