Job summary

Apex Group in Mississauga is seeking a senior Investor Services/Transfer Agency leader with 5+ years of experience to drive controls, risk and process improvements across fund services.

You will oversee outsourcing, regulatory reporting, and client relationships across jurisdictions, while guiding teams through change and ensuring timelines meet stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience managing an Investor Services/Transfer Agency team for alternative funds at a top tier institutional fund administrator.
• Detailed knowledge of Transfer Agency systems, preferably Paxus, eFront.

Responsibilities

• Review controls and procedures across Fund Services on a periodic basis.
• Identify and implement process improvements/system enhancements across the Transfer Agency Department.
• Monitor operational risk across the business and assist with enhancing the risk framework.
• Assist in building out and training the current teams.
• Oversee outsourcing for funds contracted from other jurisdictions and monitor KRI metrics.
• Maintain international client relationships and interact with hedge fund principals and investors.
• Discuss fund governing documents with staff and clients.
• Handle processing of subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and switches with proper control framework procedures.
• Ensure regulatory reporting (onshore and offshore) is delivered within required timeframes.
• Provide periodic reports to senior management and participate in opportunities from new/existing clients.
• Lead change management and ad hoc projects as required.
