Overview

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)

  • Assists with supervising admissions/ticketing attendants wherever tickets are sold on property.
  • Assists with the setup of events in the ticketing system.
  • Assists and supports box office staff in any of their job functions, as needed.
  • Ensures a positive and creative team environment within the department.
  • Facilitates open communication with the supervisors and staff.
  • Facilitates proper inter-departmental communications and organization.
  • Ensures complete and satisfactory ongoing staff training.
  • Responsible for financial settlement and accountability of all revenues collected from ticket sales and ancillary income with the internal finance department.
  • Completes and distributes accurate daily ticket counts.
  • Organizes department and financial information for participation in weekly marketing meetings.
  • Builds shows on the TM Host platform.
  • Creates, modifies, and maintains inventory for all ticketed events on the TM Host platform.
  • Creates and manages all presales, packages, and post-sales in contractual compliance with co-promoters and outside producers and venue partners.
  • Monitors inventory and ticket sales numbers and implements strategic flex ticket pricing as needed.
  • Maintains ticketing computer systems.
  • Organizes nightly will call tickets.
  • Interacts with artists, record labels, management, and band tour accountants.
  • This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements, and skills. Other duties may be assigned or different tasks may be performed when circumstances arise.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in Box Office/Ticketing Management using the Ticketmaster Host platform.
  • 3 years of experience in a Supervisor/Manager position. Familiarity with Ticketmaster Pricemaster and Platinum/Dynamic/Flex Pricing.
  • Previous experience using the Ticketmaster TM1 platform preferred.
  • Previous experience in a Casino atmosphere is a plus.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk distances.
  • The employee must frequently lift/push/pull and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
