Overview & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)
- Assist with supervising admissions/ticketing attendants and the setup of events in the ticketing system.
- Support box office staff in their functions as needed.
- Ensure a positive and creative team environment within the department.
- Facilitate open communication within the team and with other departments.
- Ensure staff training is complete and satisfactory.
- Handle financial settlement and accountability of revenues with the finance department.
- Complete and distribute daily ticket counts.
- Participate in weekly marketing meetings by organizing department and financial information.
- Build shows on the TM Host platform and manage ticket inventory.
- Create and manage presales, packages, and post-sales in collaboration with co-promoters and venue partners.
- Monitor sales and implement strategic flex ticket pricing as needed.
- Maintain ticketing computer systems and organize nightly will call tickets.
- Interact with artists, record labels, management, and tour accountants.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in Box Office/Ticketing Management using Ticketmaster Host platform.
- 3 years experience in a Supervisor/Manager role, familiar with Ticketmaster Pricemaster and dynamic pricing models.
- Experience with Ticketmaster TM1 platform preferred.
- Experience in a casino environment is a plus.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Work may involve exposure to casino-related environmental factors, including noise.
