Job summary

Masco Canada is hiring for a Manager, Talent & Development, and HR Analytics on-site at the St. Thomas, ON office for a 14-month contract. You will lead talent management, learning and development, and HR analytics initiatives to drive organizational performance and engagement.

You will design leadership development programs, manage performance cycles, and partner with HQ on strategic talent projects while promoting inclusion and continuous learning across the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in Talent, Development, and Learning.
  • Advanced mentoring and coaching skills.
  • Strong leadership, project and change management skills.
  • Proven experience in talent management, learning, and development with expertise in talent strategy and succession planning.
  • Strong understanding of performance management processes and methodologies.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to manage HR KPIs for reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent management strategy including succession planning and workforce capability planning.
  • Own the annual performance management cycle with objective setting and reviews.
  • Collaborate with HQ Talent COE to lead talent programs like succession planning and assessments.
  • Drive leadership development initiatives such as mentoring to strengthen bench strength.
  • Partner to design, develop, and deliver blended learning solutions.
  • Lead learning programs (Everything DiSC, higher education policy, leadership programs) and inclusion learning initiatives.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness using feedback and business outcomes.
  • Lead HR analytics including monthly headcount reporting and workforce tracking.

This is a 14-month contract.**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**The Manager, Talent & Development, and HR Analytics is responsible for leading and executing talent and learning development strategies that enhance employee capabilities and drive organizational success. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing leadership development, training programs, and career development initiatives. The Manager works closely with business leaders to identify talent gaps, create targeted development plans, and foster a culture of continuous learning. The position also plays a key role in talent assessments, succession planning, and driving employee engagement, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and values.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES?****Talent Management*** Develop and implement a comprehensive talent management strategy, including talent gap analysis, succession planning, talent reviews, high-potential identification, and workforce capability planning aligned with business and people objectives.* Own and lead the annual performance management cycle, including objective setting and cascading, mid-year and year-end reviews, calibration processes, and continuous performance improvement practices.* Collaborate with Talent COE at HQ to lead and execute strategic Talent Management programs and projects, including succession planning, talent assessments, and other initiatives that support talent retention and growth.* Drive leadership capability development initiatives such as Mentorship that strengthen bench strength, support future business needs, and enhance overall organizational effectiveness.**Learning & Development*** Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to identify learning needs and design, develop, and deliver impactful learning solutions using a blended learning approach.* Lead the execution of key learning and development programs, including Everything DiSC assessments and training, higher education policy deployment and validation, leadership development programs for Area Managers, Lead Hands, and first-time leaders, and Inclusion & Belonging learning initiatives.* Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives, using participant feedback, business outcomes, and industry best practices to continuously improve learning experiences and program impact.* Curate and promote a culture of continuous learning, utilize SharePoint for weekly communication, managing external partnerships, managing the internal higher educational policy and deploying innovative development opportunities to support employee growth and engagement.**HR Analytics*** Lead HR reporting and workforce analytics to monitor key people metrics (Headcount, Talent KPIs, Turnover etc), identify trends, and provide actionable insights to HR and business leaders.* Own monthly headcount reporting and workforce tracking to support accurate business and financial reporting.* Support workforce and people-cost planning by analyzing headcount, compensation assumptions, and forecast variances.**WHAT WILL YOU BRING?*** Bachelor's degree in Human
