Job summary

The Government of Alberta is seeking a Manager, Surgical Programs and Initiatives to lead policy and program development for surgical services in Edmonton or Calgary. • Oversee performance monitoring, reporting, and accountability processes to ensure successful program outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

A university graduation in a field related to the position assignment (Business Administration, Public Administration and Health Administration), supplemented by four (4) years related experience. Related experience or education may be considered as an equivalency on a one for one basis.

Required:

• Experience in policy management and/or project management.

Asset:

• Knowledge of health care system, acute care, surgical system etc.

• Shift Work: Monday through Friday from 8:15AM to 4:30PM
