The Advisory Councils Secretariat supports the operations of 14 regional advisory councils across the province. The councils are made up of members of the public who live in the region they represent. Their role is to provide input and advice on how to improve health care in their region.
The Manager leads a team responsible for council operations, stakeholder engagement, governance and administrative support. The position oversees planning and delivery of council meetings, engagement activities and recruitment initiatives while ensuring effective management of council processes, resources and operational priorities. The Manager provides leadership and direction on complex issues, supports collaboration across government and the health system, and ensures the consistent delivery of high‑quality Secretariat services.

University graduation in a field related to Community Engagement, Communications, Public Policy, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Business, or Public Health supplemented by four years related experience.

Hours of work are 08:15 AM to 04:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Full-time permanent position working 36.25 hours per week in Calgary or Edmonton
