The Manager, Structures is responsible for the planning, management, and delivery of the inspection, maintenance, rehabilitation, and construction programs for bridges, culverts, overhead sign structures, tolling gantries, retaining walls, and other structural assets across the Highway 407 ETR service area. This role provides leadership and oversight of the physical, financial, and staffing required to deliver a safe, efficient, and cost-effective structures program while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, corporate policies, and operational procedures. The Manager, Structures is also responsible for developing annual and multi-year maintenance and capital plans, establishing funding priorities, and providing technical expertise to support the long-term integrity and performance of the Company's structural assets. The ideal candidate holds a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation and brings extensive experience in the inspection, maintenance, rehabilitation, and management of transportation infrastructure projects. A strong understanding of applicable municipal, provincial, and federal regulations, as well as Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and industry-standard bridge design and analysis software, is required. The ability to lead complex projects, develop innovative solutions, and effectively communicate technical information to a variety of stakeholders is essential.
