As a Manager, Strategy, you will be part of a team that grounds every decision we make in truth and insight, builds and operationalizes the strategic plan, and helps the Canadian business and its partners unlock innovation and growth. This role contributes to Starbucks' success by leading Canada’s planning processes and driving critical cross-functional innovation programs aligned with our key business priorities. You will identify key issues, design problem-solving approaches, collaborate across teams to gather insights, generate hypotheses, and develop solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategy & Innovation: Partner across the business on critical innovation priorities, support problem-solving, define issues, develop hypotheses, and drive solutions.
  • Process & Governance: Manage planning and decision-making forums, facilitate leadership decisions, and enable strategic plan execution.
  • Program Management: Support strategic portfolio management, prioritize initiatives, and provide visibility on progress of high-value projects.
  • Leadership: Support planning and review processes, galvanize teams around priorities responding to opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with others, challenge the status quo, and inspire partners to achieve results.

Additional responsibilities include creating dynamic presentations, sharing insights with leadership, and expanding partner capabilities in Human Centered Design and The Starbucks Way.

We are seeking candidates with:

  • 5-8 years of experience in strategic formulation, problem-solving, or supporting teams in similar roles.
  • Experience in innovation, problem validation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of Human Centered Design and data-driven insights.
  • Strong communication and project leadership skills.
