We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and creative Social Media Manager to lead and evolve our brand’s presence across all key platforms. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is both an exceptional executor and a strategic thinker. You will be the in-house subject matter expert on all things social, shaping and delivering innovative social media strategies, leading content creation, and advising internal and client teams alike.
You’ll play a vital role in pitch development, creative direction, and cross-functional campaign execution—with a strong emphasis on content creation, KOL/influencer collaboration, and agency-level strategy execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end social media strategies that align with brand, marketing, and business objectives.
- Develop and present strategic proposals and pitch decks for new business and client campaigns, in collaboration with leadership and new business teams.
- Serve as the go-to expert for platform trends, audience behavior, and algorithm updates, ensuring our approach stays ahead of the curve.
- Own the social media content calendar and manage platform-specific content creation across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter/X.
- Provide strategic and creative direction to creative, copy, and video teams to develop high-impact social assets.
- Drive and oversee KOL and influencer strategies, from sourcing and outreach to campaign activation and performance review.
- Lead paid social strategy and execution in collaboration with performance marketing teams ensuring performance benchmarks are met or exceeded.
- Maintain and evolve brand tone of voice, ensuring consistency across channels while tailoring content to each platform's audience.
- Analyze campaign data and audience insights to provide actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Mentor and manage junior team members and freelancers, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Represent social media strategy in cross-functional and client meetings, providing expert insights and recommendations.
- Stay informed on the competitive landscape and identify opportunities for social-first innovation and brand differentiation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on social media experience, preferably in an agency environment, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record developing and executing successful organic and paid social media strategies across multiple platforms.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating multi-platform campaigns, especially on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter/X.
- Experience with influencer and KOL partnerships, from strategy through execution and analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in developing pitches, presenting strategies, and reporting results to clients or executive leadership.
- Strong understanding of brand building, storytelling, and aligning social with PR, digital, and marketing goals.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of leading multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in tools such as Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, and others.
- Adept in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with shifting priorities and evolving brand needs.
