Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, SEO Content Strategy to join our Content and Communications team in Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto.

Who you are:

As the Manager, SEO Content Strategy, you will lead our SEO content team in developing strategies to drive organic traffic, increase conversions, and improve site visibility. You will oversee the optimization of existing content and the creation of new SEO content, working closely with content and technical SEO teams to execute strategies that enhance content performance and generate leads.

What you'll work on:
  1. SEO Content Strategy Development: Create and execute SEO-driven content strategies that support business goals.
  2. Prioritization & Impact: Identify and prioritize impactful SEO initiatives using data.
  3. Big Bold Bets: Develop high-impact content strategies that differentiate us from competitors.
  4. Content Optimization: Oversee optimization of website content for visibility and engagement.
  5. Editorial Planning & Execution: Manage the editorial calendar aligned with SEO priorities.
  6. Lead Conversion Optimization: Collaborate to enhance content for lead generation.
  7. Forecasting: Predict lead performance based on SEO initiatives.
  8. AI Integration & SEO: Stay informed on SEO developments, especially AI impacts, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  9. Collaboration with SEO & Technical Teams: Ensure content aligns with technical SEO best practices.
  10. Content Quality & Relevance: Maintain high-quality, user-focused content.
  11. SEO Performance Analysis & Reporting: Use analytics tools to track and improve content performance.
  12. Education & Knowledge Sharing: Educate teams on SEO best practices and trends.
  13. Continuous Optimization: Regularly update content to stay competitive and aligned with SEO trends.
What you may have:
  • At least 8 years in SEO content strategy, with 2+ years in leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of SEO strategies, on-page optimization, keyword research, technical SEO, and content writing.
  • Proven ability to lead high-quality, brand-aligned content creation.
  • Experience in optimizing digital assets for SEO goals.
  • Ability to improve conversions and forecast lead performance.
  • Strong understanding of AI's impact on SEO and ability to adapt strategies.
  • Proficiency with SEO analytics tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz.
  • Leadership skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting strategies and data-driven insights.
What you will find here:

Our Total Rewards Program offers competitive pay, health benefits, flexible work arrangements, generous time off, counseling benefits, retirement matching, and recognition programs. The full salary range for this role is $109,200 to $164,000 CAD, depending on location and experience.
