Qualifications

The opportunity

EY’s Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice is an advisory unit that provides risk management support to banks, insurers and asset managers. Our team includes individuals with industry, client, and product knowledge, as well as professionals in quantitative analysis, regulatory compliance, project management, and technology. We are seeking a Manager and Senior Manager to join our team. Together, you'll coordinate the delivery of risk management, regulatory, and business performance services to clients including commercial banks, investment banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, insurance, and energy trading companies.

Your key responsibilities

The role of IRM Solutions Enablement Manager or Senior Manager involves collaborating with team members to assess, select, design, implement, and roll out integrated risk management (IRM) solutions.

The Manager or Senior Manager will oversee engagement delivery, manage and coach teams, ensure successful engagement execution, handle reporting and engagement economics, and develop strong client relationships. They will also participate in practice development activities such as business development and staff training.

The end-to-end IRM implementation services include:

  • Assisting with vendor selections for IRM solutions
  • Designing and evaluating GRC programs, performing current state assessments, and developing future state designs
  • Assisting clients with GRC process re-engineering and tool enhancements
  • Implementing IRM platforms across the Software Development Lifecycle, including requirements gathering, use case development, design, configuration, testing, and rollout
  • Integrating IRM software, understanding architecture options like ETL and Web-API
  • Developing IRM governance and operating models
  • Providing IRM Managed Services, including support, maintenance, and post-production enhancements

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
  • Willingness to travel on short notice


To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • University degree in finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Hands-on IRM platform implementation experience or certification in RSA Archer, ServiceNow, IBM OpenPages, or Metric Stream
  • Exposure to Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of IT risk management, internal audit, vendor risk, SOX, information security, and OpRisk processes
  • Understanding of risk convergence, control frameworks, and operational risk projects
  • Familiarity with standards like CobIT, ISO 27001/27002, PCI, GLBA
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Integrity and experience advising financial services companies
  • Project management experience


Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Proactive attitude and ability to innovate
  • Bilingual in French and English
