Jobgether in Canada seeks a Manager of Security Architecture to define and lead IAM, cloud security, and Zero Trust initiatives across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security architecture, enterprise security leadership, cloud security, or related roles.
• Defined technical strategies and roadmaps across identity, cloud, network, or data security.
• Deep hands-on expertise in IAM including SSO, MFA, PAM, and identity governance platforms.
• Strong multi-cloud security experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP for secure hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Ability to translate security strategies into measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent communication to explain complex security concepts to technical and executive audiences.
• Experience leading, developing, and mentoring security architects and senior engineers.
• Preferred: CISSP, CCSK, or SABSA Chartered Architect certification.
• Preferred: Zero Trust architectures at scale.
• Preferred: Background in B2B SaaS transitioning to enterprise-scale operations.
• Preferred: Hands-on with Auth0, Okta, CyberArk or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of security architecture strategies for IAM, cloud, network, and data security.
• Define and communicate IAM roadmap including Auth0, Okta, PAM maturity initiatives.
• Lead Zero Trust maturity assessments and architecture design across identity, network, and data security.
• Review security architecture for business initiatives and provide risk-aware recommendations.
• Mentor the Principal Security Architect and guide the wider architecture team.
• Collaborate with Cloud Platform, Infrastructure, and Development teams to advance security roadmaps across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Establish scalable architecture standards, reusable design patterns, and architecture decision records.
• Monitor progress and communicate security risks to CTO and stakeholders.
• Lead PoC initiatives for emerging technologies and validate solutions before enterprise deployment.
• Promote security-by-design and embed security requirements from the outset.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Security Architecture based in Canada.

As Manager, Security Architecture, you will define and lead the organization's strategic approach to identity, access management, cloud security, and Zero Trust initiatives. You will establish technical roadmaps and architecture standards that strengthen security while enabling business teams to innovate and move faster. Working closely with cloud, infrastructure, development, and executive stakeholders, you will guide security decisions across complex hybrid and multi-cloud environments. You will also lead architecture reviews, oversee emerging technology assessments, and ensure security principles are consistently embedded into business initiatives. This role combines hands‑on technical expertise with strategic leadership and team development. It offers the opportunity to shape enterprise‑wide security capabilities within a flexible, virtual‑first environment.

Accountabilities

You will lead the development and implementation of security architecture strategies, ensuring that identity, cloud, network, and data security initiatives align with organizational priorities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining and communicating the identity and access management roadmap, covering Auth0, Okta, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and broader privilege access maturity initiatives.

• Leading Zero Trust maturity assessments, architecture design, and implementation planning across identity, network, and data security domains.

• Conducting security architecture reviews for business unit initiatives and providing recommendations that balance risk reduction with business agility.

• Managing and mentoring the Principal Security Architect while providing technical guidance and strategic direction to the wider architecture team.

• Collaborating with Cloud Platform, Infrastructure, and Development teams to define and advance security roadmaps across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Establishing scalable architecture standards, reusable design patterns, security principles, and architecture decision records.

• Monitoring and communicating roadmap progress, dependencies, and security risks to the CTO and relevant business stakeholders.

• Leading proof‑of‑concept initiatives for emerging technologies and validating proposed solutions before enterprise‑wide deployment.

• Promoting security‑by‑design practices and helping business units integrate security requirements into their initiatives from the outset.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines extensive security architecture experience with strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and proven leadership capabilities. You should be comfortable influencing senior stakeholders while guiding technical teams through complex security transformations. The following qualifications are expected:

• 10+ years of experience in security architecture, enterprise security leadership, cloud security, or related roles.

• Demonstrated success defining technical strategies and roadmaps across multiple security domains, including identity, cloud, network, or data security.

• Deep hands‑on expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including Single Sign‑On (SSO), Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and identity governance platforms.

• Strong multi‑cloud security experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including the ability to design secure hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.

• Proven ability to translate security strategies into measurable business outcomes.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and security priorities to both technical teams and executive audiences.

• Experience leading, developing, and mentoring security architects and senior engineers.

Preferred qualifications:

• CISSP, CCSK, or SABSA Chartered Architect certification.

• Experience designing and implementing Zero Trust architectures at scale.

• Background in B2B SaaS organizations transitioning from startup environments to enterprise‑scale operations.

• Hands‑on experience with Auth0, Okta, CyberArk, or comparable identity and access management platforms.
