Job summary

PeoplePilot is seeking a Security Architecture professional to lead cloud security across Azure, AWS, and GCP, focusing on Zero Trust and secure access management. You will implement RBAC/IAM, utilize Microsoft Defender analytics for threat detection, and strengthen application security controls.

The ideal candidate will design secure logging with TLS/Syslog and promote security best practices across development and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise cloud security across Azure, AWS and GCP.
• Strong understanding of RBAC/IAM and secure access management.
• Knowledge of industry-standard security controls and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee Cloud Security Architecture across multi-cloud environments.
• Implement and support Zero Trust architectures and secure access controls.
• Leverage RBAC/IAM and Microsoft Defender analytics for threat detection and monitoring.
• Ensure secure logging and transmission using TLS and Syslog.
• Apply application security controls to reduce risk in software systems.

Job description

Salary: CAD $120,000–$140,000 per year

About the Role

We are looking for a Security Architecture professional with strong expertise in cloud security across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), along with application security controls and secure access management.

The ideal candidate will have experience implementing Zero Trust architectures, managing identity and access controls, using Microsoft Defender analytics, and strengthening application security through industry-standard controls and best practices.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

1. Cloud Security Architecture

• Manage and strengthen security across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
• Implement and support Zero Trust architectures.
• Apply Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Identity and Access Management (IAM) for secure access management.
• Use Microsoft Defender and advanced analytics to support security monitoring and threat detection.
• Implement comprehensive logging and secure log transmission using TLS and Syslog.
• Support secure cloud architecture and access-control practices.

2. Application Security Controls

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of application security controls.
• Apply industry-standard security controls and best practices to secure applications.
• Help strengthen application security and reduce security risks.
