An established industry player is seeking a dedicated professional to join their Independence Group. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with independence standards and policies, involving collaboration with partners and staff across various services. The Independence Group helps ensure the firm and its personnel are in compliance with Professional, Regulatory, and KPMG Global (and local country) independence standards. This role highly focuses on liaison with Partners and Staff from all lines of service about the application of standards and policies pertaining to independence, including those established by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), CPA Code of Professional Conduct (CPA Code), and the IESBA Code of Ethics for Professional Accounts (IESBA Code).
The successful candidate will be required to support and collaborate with English-speaking colleagues as this role supports Risk Management for KPMG nationally. This individual will be required to document Risk Management findings from English speaking colleagues.
The expected base salary range for this position is $73,000 to $109,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
