Position Overview

The Manager, Retail Performance is responsible for the overall composition and performance of the Audi Canada Dealer Network. Specifically, this role leads the management of dealer performance strategy through network planning, consulting, partner selection, internal governance and dealer standards management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads strategy for overall dealer network planning, capacity requirements and business planning.
  • Consults with dealers and internal team on strategic profit initiativeswith the objective of industry-best profitability.
  • Supports values of strong, competitive and modern business culture within the team and greater organization.
  • Represents business management and network planning for Audi Canada and is the key liaison with AUDI AG for business management, market coverage, business models, risk management, bonus and margin systems, market reporting and corporate architecture.
  • Leads immediate team member and cross functional team within Audi Canada on business performance and network planning.
  • Manages buy/sell and partner selection for current and future Audi Dealership investors.
  • Primary legal management liaison for department and brand for all contractual framework and adherence thereto.
  • Management of Brand & Admin budgets and process leader with finance and purchasing, - Develops strategy for creation, implementation and administration for Bonus & Margin systems with objective of driving results for core strategic elements.
  • Lead annual market coverage assessments to develop strategy for ideal network plan.
  • Leads quarterly network assessment for operational and financial performance including recommended actions for remediation.
  • Ongoing risk assessment management for dealer working capital and solvency requirements.
  • Leadership and management of dealer recognition and performance management programs.
  • Manage Dealer governance/contractual framework development, administration and upkeep in line with future‑oriented business.
  • Secure resources to assess retail market coverage and reporting. Ongoing assessment of tools and needs in support of network planning.
  • Create cost‑efficient vendor structure to enable Dealers to maximize their return on investment during implementation of financial performance consulting.
  • Sourcing and management of partners for Business Management, Risk Assessment, Market Analysis, Audits, Financial Reporting,
  • Implements market coverage and capacity plans.
  • Supports development of detailed dealer‑level action plans for performance improvement.
  • Develops & enhances required sales & service formats for image and customer retail experience, working closely with the training and retail strategy teams.
Dealer Advisory Council Management
  • Organize and manage all aspects of the Dealer Advisory Council, including preparing and distributing meeting agendas and materials.
  • Develop and deliver presentations on dealership performance, key initiatives, and program updates for council meetings.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with council members, ensuring logistical needs are met.
  • Document, maintain, and publish meeting minutes and follow‑up actions, ensuring transparency and accountability within the council and across relevant stakeholders.
  • Regular meetings with Dealer Advisory Council representative.
Qualifications
Formal Education

Bachelor's Degree - Major in Business, Commerce, Project Management and/or related discipline.

Experience

Work Flexibility
  • Availability for occasional travel (up to 35%), mostly within Canada, as per business requirements.
  • Regular overtime, off site meetings, travel necessitating occasional long days. Occasional additional hours required for reporting requirements.

Salary range is dependent on factors such as industry‑based experience, skills, training, credentials, and other qualifications. The salary range for this role is $123,000-$133,000, actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and internal compensation practices.
