Job summary

Kingston Health Sciences Centre in Ontario is seeking a Manager, Regional Projects to lead a portfolio of large regional digital health initiatives aimed at improving care delivery, coordination and patient experience across the region. The role is remote/virtual within Ontario with occasional regional travel; you will guide PMO practices, governance, and manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent education/experience.
• PMP designation or equivalent certification.
• 7–10 years of progressive project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects/programs/portfolios.
• Knowledge of PMBOK methodologies, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with project/portfolio tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Proven leadership guiding project teams and supporting organizational change.

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Regional Projects to join the Regional Lumeo Administration Team and play a key leadership role in advancing Lumeo, Southeast Ontario's regional health information system. In this exciting leadership position, you will oversee a portfolio of large-scale regional initiatives that improve how care is delivered, coordinated, and experienced across the health system.

As a trusted leader, you will guide project management excellence across the region by strengthening governance, advancing PMO best practices, supporting project teams, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic digital health initiatives that impact patients, providers, and healthcare organizations throughout the region.

What You'll Do

As Manager, Regional Projects, you will:

• Lead a diverse portfolio of complex regional projects and programs that support the ongoing evolution and optimization of Lumeo and regional digital health services.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to regional Project Managers and staff assigned to regional initiatives.
• Champion project management excellence through standardized methodologies, governance frameworks, tools, and best practices.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, risk management, and performance monitoring across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Develop meaningful portfolio reporting and performance metrics for senior leadership, governance committees, and partner organizations.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with healthcare leaders, regional stakeholders, vendors, government agencies, and healthcare organizations.
• Support organizational change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that enhance project delivery and regional collaboration.
• Monitor emerging industry trends, project management practices, and healthcare technology developments to ensure leading-edge approaches are incorporated into regional operations.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• University degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent certification.
• 7 to 10 years of progressive project management experience leading complex, large-scale initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects, programs, or portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of PMBOK methodologies, project governance, and project lifecycle management.
• Experience with project and portfolio management tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Proven leadership experience guiding project teams and supporting organizational change.
