Job description

Role Impact :

The Manager, D&T Planning and Governance is responsible for enabling IT strategic planning and performance reporting within the Data & Technology department. In this role, the Manager will support the Director, D&T Planning and Governance by driving key activities, including enabling departmental planning and governance, reporting on strategic initiatives, and facilitating communication of overall D&T portfolio progress to senior leadership.

This role will shape and develop strategic communications that demonstrate the value and impact of the company's technology initiatives to senior leadership and the broader organization. A master storyteller, the ideal candidate will translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for non-technical stakeholders, demonstrating the strategic importance of technology in achieving the company's objectives.

This is a fixed-term contract for a period of 12 months.

What you will deliver
Strategy Planning & Governance
  • In partnership with the Director of D&T Planning and Governance, lead IT strategic planning activities to create a cohesive D&T annual work plan.
  • Create, socialize, and manage D&T planning methodologies and toolkits.
  • Facilitate technology prioritization activities with business and D&T leadership.
  • Lead the monthly and quarterly calibration of the D&T annual work plan, managing changes by engaging with all D&T teams.
  • Own and manage a monthly business review to discuss progress to plan and updated forecasts across resourcing.
  • Ensure the D&T governance framework is operationalized and that governance committees implement appropriate standards and processes.
  • Provide ongoing strategic support to the D&T senior leadership team as they plan their technology strategies and initiatives.
  • Reconcile D&T project roadmaps to the overarching strategic roadmap to identify gaps, overlaps, and obstacles to successful delivery.
Executive & Corporate Communications
  • Develop and design engaging quarterly business reporting presentations for senior leadership that showcase the Data and Technology department's performance and key achievements.
  • Craft concise and impactful narratives around major technology projects, focusing on business outcomes and competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to create compelling presentations that articulate the technology vision and strategic priorities for the upcoming year.
  • Prepare timely briefings for senior leadership on emerging real estate technology trends, potential disruptions, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Draft clear and engaging company-wide announcements regarding new technology rollouts, system updates, and training opportunities.

What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in leading strategic planning, process improvement, and change initiatives, preferably within a technology or data-focused environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft and Google business productivity tools.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
