Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Director of Development and Construction for Low-Rise Housing, the Manager of Sourcing and Procurement will play a pivotal role in managing suppliers and subcontractors. The Manager of Sourcing and Procurement will work closely with various functional teams, including Design, Sales, Customer Experience, and Construction, to develop and maintain trade contracts, specifications, and budgets. As the Manager of Sourcing and Procurement, you will manage the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.

Qualifications
As the ideal candidate, you have a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with a valid Class G driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field, with a strong preference for experience in residential home building construction. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, the ability to foster collaborative relationships, and possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities. They should be detail-oriented with the capacity to multitask effectively and thrive under pressure. Proficiency in cost analysis and reporting is also key to the role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and project management software is essential. A strong understanding of residential building techniques, codes, and regulations would be considered an asset.
