Commissionaires Ottawa is seeking a Manager, Learning Centre to lead corporate training and development at our Ottawa head office. This full-time in-person position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and directs a team of training specialists to advance workforce readiness and regulatory compliance.
You will shape the learning strategy, oversee the annual budget, and drive initiatives across Ontario and Quebec. Strong leadership, budget, and regulatory expertise are essential.

We are currently recruiting for a Manager, Learning Centre, to fill a two-year backfill position at our head office in Ottawa, ON. This is a full-time, in-person term opportunity reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Manager, Learning Centre is responsible for Commissionaires Ottawa’s corporate training and development activities, including the leadership of a team of training specialists. The incumbent plays a key role in developing and implementing the organizational learning strategy, with a focus on workforce readiness, regulatory compliance, and employee development.
The role encompasses preparation of the annual training budget and plans, and ensures training design and delivery is grounded in adult learning principles and aligned with applicable federal and provincial standards and regulations, including CGSB standards and provincial legislation governing the security industry (e.g., PSISA in Ontario and the Act respecting private security in Quebec).
