The Manager, Investment Accounting will oversee the accounting, compliance, and tax strategy of the company's investments.

About the Opportunity

Direct the accounting functions of the Group’s investment division, including a diversified portfolio of publicly traded securities, derivatives, venture capital, and private equity investments across North America and internationally.

Oversee the accurate recording of investment transactions, prepare monthly investment reports, monitor cash positions, and manage tax compliance in collaboration with external advisors for Canadian and U.S. regulations.

Assist with month-end closing, financial statement preparation, and support corporate tax filings and audits. Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and support ad hoc projects as needed.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA or equivalent preferred; CFA in progress is an asset
• Minimum 5 years’ experience, with preferred experience in PE, fund accounting, or public accounting

Salary Range

$110,000 - $130,000 per year
