A leading company in energy and industrial construction is seeking a Manager for their IT department in Calgary, Alberta. The role involves overseeing IT services, project management, and strategic planning to enhance corporate objectives. Ideal candidates should possess significant management experience and technical expertise, as well as a commitment to a culture of safety and collaboration.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager, Information Technology is responsible for the effective operation of information technology (IT) services and support across the organization. This individual oversees IT project management, resource management, supervision of IT staff, as well as communication with the executive team, business unit leaders, and end users. The IT Manager is also responsible for IT strategic and tactical planning, as well as identifying, selecting, and deploying the appropriate technology resources that will support corporate goals and objectives. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
