Job summary

First Nations Technical Institute (FNTI) seeks a Manager, Indigenous Centre for Teaching and Learning to provide strategic leadership for Indigenous teaching, learning, and quality assurance. The role will foster Communities of Practice among faculty, Elders, and Knowledge Keepers to advance culturally grounded education.

The position is full-time on-contract for one year, remote, reporting to the Director, Quality Assurance, with a competitive hourly rate and four percent vacation pay.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or related field required.
• Minimum five years in Indigenous education, teaching and learning, curriculum development, or quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Indigenous Centre for Teaching and Learning.
• Lead Communities of Practice among faculty, Elders, and Knowledge Keepers.
• Advance Indigenous teaching, learning, and curriculum development across FNTI.
• Support technology-enhanced teaching and learning, including digital environments.
