Job Description: The Governance & Control (G&C) team serves as TD Wealth’s 1B function, protecting the business, empowering our partners, and transforming how risk and controls are managed across TD Wealth. We are seeking an execution-focused, analytically strong, and collaborative Manager to support Strategy & Transformation (S&T) for G&C. The Strategy & Transformation team is central to shaping our strategic direction, driving disciplined execution, and enabling modern, technology-accelerated oversight through data, automation, and AI. You will work with partners across the three lines of defense and enterprise functions to help build a stronger governance and control ecosystem that reinforces risk culture and delivers legendary colleague and customer experiences.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning & Priority Management

    Support the development and execution of G&C’s annual and multi-year strategic plan, ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities and the organization’s transformation agenda. Manage key components of the operating rhythm, including fiscal planning inputs, quarterly business review materials, performance updates, and strategy refresh activities. Translate strategic pillars (Deeper Relationships, Simple & Faster, Disciplined Execution) into practical workplans, milestones, and measurable deliverables. Partner with Finance, Workforce Strategy, and business partners to support FTE planning, cost discipline, and investment prioritization analysis.

  • Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) / Performance Management

    Support the management of the G&C OKR framework, helping ensure priorities, measures, and deliverables are clearly defined and aligned to enterprise expectations. Track, analyze, and report performance metrics, including shared-accountability risk indicators and G&C-owned outcomes. Prepare leadership-ready dashboards, insights, and narratives that support informed decision-making by the VP, senior leadership team, and relevant committees. Promote performance discipline by maintaining clear tracking routines, highlighting risks or gaps, and supporting timely follow-up on commitments.

  • Automation, AI & Technology Enablement

    Identify, assess, and support delivery of automation and AI use cases that scale oversight, modernize control environments, and reduce manual effort. Maintain a pipeline of AI and automation opportunities across the G&C portfolio, partnering with business, data, and technology teams to assess feasibility, readiness, and impact. Contribute to G&C’s responsible AI strategy by helping ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise frameworks, governance expectations, and regulatory principles. Support control automation, call-monitoring AI, continuous monitoring dashboards, and eGRC platform integration workstreams. Partner with internal technology teams to enable safe, practical, and responsible adoption of new tools and capabilities. Develop supporting analysis for business cases, including ROI, risk reduction, capacity creation, and colleague experience benefits.

  • Reporting, Insights & Executive Communications

    Support the modernization of G&C’s reporting ecosystem by helping shift reporting toward an insight-driven model that elevates risk signals and enables proactive decision-making. Use automation, data visualization, and Power BI to improve consistency, speed, accuracy, and usability of recurring reporting. Prepare high-quality materials including operational insights, risk narratives, performance scorecards, audit/regulatory updates, and quarterly results packages. Improve reporting quality by applying clear storytelling, simplified visuals, and actionable insights. Support the VP and senior leadership team with strategic presentations, town halls, leadership team materials, and enterprise submission inputs.

  • Risk Culture, Brand, & Stakeholder Management

    Support initiatives that strengthen TD Wealth’s risk culture through insights, education, storytelling, and proactive partnership with 1A. Coordinate and help deliver key colleague experience programs and events including Pulse, Reward and Recognition (R&R), and Town Halls. Support talent learning and development across G&C, including capability-upskilling programs and adoption of new ways of working. Build trusted relationships across G&C, Wealth, and enterprise partner groups to support alignment, issue resolution, and execution momentum.

Job Qualifications:
  • 5 –7+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, governance, program delivery, or business management.
  • Strong ability to manage workstreams, organize complex information, and execute in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare leadership-ready materials and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data and insights into practical recommendations.
  • Experience with automation, AI/ML applications, digitization, data visualization, or process improvement is an asset.
  • Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Understanding of risk frameworks (e.g., 3LoD, regulatory expectations, audit, controls) is an asset.
  • Ability to manage priorities, track shared accountability metrics, and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.
