Job description

Mark Anthony Group is an entrepreneurial drinks company, built from the ground up by thinking differently, innovating and doing the unexpected. Our company is rooted in family values, a bold vision and relentless determination to continuously raise the bar and make a positive difference in consumers' lives.

Founded in 1972, we’ve grown organically from a one-person import wine business into an international drinks company. Our hallmarks include a portfolio of iconic beverage brands—White Claw Hard Seltzer, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Dillon’s Small Batch Distillers, Olé Cocktail Co. and Más+ by Messi—alongside a collection of luxury wineries in the Okanagan Valley, notably Mission Hill Family Estate, CedarCreek Estate Winery, Martin’s Lane Winery, and CheckMate Artisanal Winery.

The Role

Based at our Vancouver office, the Manager, Global Quality and Operational Excellence will lead the development, harmonization, and execution of quality standards across our global operations. You will be responsible for ensuring these standards are consistently built and upheld across all business units, with a particular emphasis on meeting the Quality Operations requirements of third-party manufacturing. This role plays a critical part in shaping the future of our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment across Canada, the US, and Rest of World (ROW) regions.

  1. Lead the creation and harmonization of global quality and technical standards, including food safety (HACCP, VACCP) and packaging specifications.
  2. Build and implement a global audit program, including internal site audits.
  3. Review and align existing documentation and standards across regions to eliminate fragmentation and ensure global consistency.
  4. Collaborate with regional quality leads, supply chain, product development, and IT to support QMS expansion and documentation in ETQ.
  5. Support onboarding and training of regional quality teams and corporate hubs; occasional direct training for co-packers as needed.
  6. Help define and document processes for integration into the quality system, supporting future system builds.
  7. Travel approximately 25% globally to support audits and site visits.

Who You Are

  • Degree or diploma in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in Quality, including at least 2 years in the beverage industry.
  • Experience in the beverage, food, or CPG industry is required.
  • Strong knowledge of QMS platforms.
  • GFSI-certified auditor or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across global teams.
  • Comfortable working independently and capable of building frameworks from the ground up.

What You'll Gain

  • Strategic exposure to global quality operations and leadership.
  • Opportunity to shape and influence quality standards across a growing organization.
  • A collaborative environment with the autonomy to build and lead impactful initiatives.
