Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Cozey is seeking a Data Science Intern to help build demand forecasting and supply chain planning capabilities. You’ll test forecasting models, analyze results, and turn insights into actionable PO recommendations while working with data science, demand planning, and operations teams.
You'll be joining a Canadian startup growing internationally, with a flexible hybrid schedule, a 40-hour week, and a dog-friendly office.
At Cozey, we're not just selling furniture. We're improving the living spaces of customers across Canada, the United States, and Australia, and our vision is straightforward: to become the world's leading furniture company. Four values guide us: create value for our customers, push for excellence, do the right thing, and find the edge. We move fast, hold ourselves to high standards, act with integrity, and stay relentlessly curious, and we believe every team member is a key player in the journey.
Furniture is a business of long bets. We order from overseas months before a customer clicks buy, which means a forecast that's off costs us either a stockout or capital sitting in a warehouse. As we expand into new markets and new product lines, getting those calls right becomes harder and matters more. This internship sits on exactly that problem.
Your mission is to help Cozey build a world-class demand forecasting and supply chain planning capability, one that gets the right products ordered in the right quantities at the right time.
You'll work at the intersection of data science, demand planning, and supply chain, turning data into decisions that keep our shelves stocked and our capital working. That means testing and evaluating forecasting models, digging into where they break down, and helping turn forecasts and inventory targets into purchase order recommendations someone can actually act on.
We're looking for someone comfortable with code and data, rigorous about details, and curious enough to challenge how things currently work, who's excited to be part of a growing Canadian start-up with very large ambitions.
