About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Canada BU, North America team as a Manager, Franchise Performance based in Ontario (Canada). The Manager, Franchise Performance supports the team with providing strategic business direction and alignment to influence Subway franchise owners in maximizing profitability and aligning store operations with Subway's brand standards. This role will communicate expected performance levels of locations and franchisees within their assigned area relative to company KPIs and metrics. They will drive business growth by identifying operational improvement opportunities and providing training to strengthen locations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • BUILDING SALES & PROFITS: Impart operational and food safety guidance during restaurant visits, evaluate restaurants quarterly using the PBE model, document compliance, improvements, and opportunities, analyze sales and costs, and provide tailored guidance. Review franchise portfolios, conduct business reviews, and support marketing and financial planning.
  • BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS: Coach and counsel franchisees to achieve store and territory goals, train staff on company initiatives, develop relationships through regular visits and communications, and lead training sessions. Support local marketing efforts and provide operational coaching during restaurant shifts.
  • BUILDING STORES: Assist with site reviews, support new store openings and transfers, evaluate readiness, and help franchisees grow their businesses, including retirement planning from the brand.
  • SELF-DEVELOPMENT: Engage in training programs, participate in scheduled training and meetings, and stay informed on new initiatives to effectively influence franchisees.
