Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Manager, FP&A, Creative, Merchandising and Supply Chain, you will be the primary business partner supporting the Chief Creative Officer (CCO), Chief Merchandising Officer (CMO), Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO), and GM Veilance. Your responsibilities include coordinating month-end deliverables, leading variance reviews, and supporting ad-hoc projects by providing insightful financial data for decision-making. You will partner closely with various teams and leaders across the business to lead strategic analysis, performance reporting, planning, and forecasting.

Meet Your Future Team:

Financial Planning & Analysis at Arc’teryx is responsible for providing leadership with the information they need to review past performance, understand business trends, and anticipate future profitability and financial position. Through review of historic financials, variance analysis, and KPI tracking, FP&A advises leadership on key investment decisions and performance improvement.

Core Activities:
  • Being the primary business partner to the CCO, CMO, CSCO, and GM Veilance, supporting them with annual budgets and reforecasting of controllable operating expenses.
  • Analyzing variances against forecast, budget, and prior-year results monthly and quarterly, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Advising C-Suite on opportunities for opex savings to drive profitability and growth.
  • Working with senior leaders on strategic planning, investment decisions, and scenario modeling.
  • Improving FP&A data, processes, and reporting systems, sharing innovations with the team.
  • Managing system loading of opex into Oracle on a regular basis.
  • Assisting in designing and maintaining accounting, budgeting, and reporting systems for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Mentoring analysts on budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and process improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Professional accounting designation, degree in Accounting, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years proven experience in a Financial Analyst role or similar.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and BI tools.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
Assets:
  • International business experience.
  • Experience with SAP FICO and Hyperion.
  • Experience in multi-platform, multi-currency environments.
