This role, Manager Financial Planning & Analysis - Canada, is responsible for financial forecasting, planning activities for the Canadian division of Electrolux Major Appliances, North America, and creating periodic reports to analyze and communicate performance to management. The role also involves driving process improvement initiatives related to financial processes and Business Intelligence.

It ensures the financial information needs of the business are met, and processes are implemented to enhance data reliability and process efficiency. The role collaborates closely with Electrolux Canada business leaders, and the Finance teams in Canada and North America.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Seek and drive continuous improvement opportunities to enhance process efficiency.
  2. Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for management (Canada and North America).
  3. Interpret and communicate financial performance, implications, and recommendations.
  4. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations teams to ensure consistent communication and connectivity within the financial organization.
  5. Provide business insights aligned with organizational strategies.
  6. Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives or investment requests.
  7. Provide annual projections, periodic forecasts, and profitability analyses by channel, platform, or market.
  8. Develop analytical tools, including scenarios to achieve growth and profitability targets.
  9. Support internal control environment and compliance activities to safeguard assets. Implement financial policies and procedures.
  10. Build strong relationships with staff, peers, and senior management, including global staff, to ensure effective financial operations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA in Finance or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • CPA designation preferred.
  • 5-7 years of progressive accounting/financial analysis experience required.

  • Proven leadership skills and experience in leadership roles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of thriving in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to facilitate solutions to complex problems and communicate benefits effectively.

  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial concepts.
  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
  • Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify and execute efficiency opportunities.
