We are seeking a manager for our restaurant and food service operations. The ideal candidate will have a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze budgets to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits.
2. Develop budgets to determine costs of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies.
3. Evaluate daily operations and modify food preparation methods and menu prices accordingly.
4. Monitor staff performance, train staff, and conduct performance reviews.
5. Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
6. Organize and maintain inventory.
7. Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
8. Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
9. Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide excellent customer service.
10. Host functions such as weddings, anniversaries, community events, sports events, corporate functions, and school dances.
11. Ensure compliance with legal work eligibility in Canada.
