At IAMGOLD, we seek a Manager, Financial Reporting who is passionate about delivering excellence and ready to contribute their skills in a collaborative, dynamic environment. Reporting to the Director, Financial Reporting, you will prepare consolidated financial statements, local statutory reports, and regulatory submissions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in line with public company standards and GAAP. You will also prepare ESTMA reports, working with internal and external partners to address matters efficiently.
Your responsibilities include leading quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, managing month and quarter-end reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, FX translations, and non-controlling interest consolidations. You will collaborate with site finance teams to ensure IFRS compliance, liaise with auditors, and support M&A transactions and debt offerings with financial due diligence and integration.
As a leader, you will coach accounting staff, work with mine sites and corporate teams on routine and ad-hoc issues, and improve financial close processes and reporting quality. You will promote process streamlining, control enhancements, and technological efficiencies. We emphasize safety and regulatory compliance, and you will actively support health, safety, and community wellbeing.
What You Need to Succeed
You should hold a CPA designation and a degree in accounting, business administration, or finance. Mining industry experience in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment is essential, along with knowledge of external reporting standards for public companies. Experience with platforms like Onestream and Workiva is advantageous. You must thrive under pressure, manage projects effectively, and possess strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and analytical skills to shape our financial reporting future.
