The opportunity

We are seeking an Anaplan Solution Architect to join our Finance practice. You will help clients enhance their business and internal finance performance by providing strategic advisory services that deliver measurable benefits in operational effectiveness and decision-making.

You will participate in engagements across the following areas:

• Finance Transformation Strategy & Roadmap
• Finance Statement Close & Consolidations
• Finance Operating Model Design
• Finance & Accounting Process Improvement
• Global Business Services including Shared Service Centers, Outsourcing

Your key responsibilities

You will establish and maintain relationships, identify business opportunities, develop client networks, and contribute to thought leadership. You will also improve operational efficiency and mentor junior team members. Travel is estimated at 50%.

Client responsibilities

Lead and supervise Anaplan implementation projects, analyze clients’ finance and accounting processes, and advise on solutions. Demonstrate technical knowledge in software implementation, data mapping, system configuration, testing, and validation.

• Identify gaps in requirements and communication issues
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and system configurations
• Coordinate with sales and implementation teams to resolve issues

People Management responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and mentor staff
• Provide technical guidance and training
• Develop ongoing educational programs

Skills and attributes for success

• Integrate clients’ IT environments into model design
• Develop Proof of Concept models to support sales and credibility
• Expand POC models into detailed blueprints

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of industry or consulting experience
• 2-3 years’ experience with at least 4 Anaplan projects
• Experience with Oracle EPM, Hyperion, OneStream, or similar tools
• Expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis, EPM, SPM, IBP domains
• Knowledge of data integration challenges and solutions, including ETL tools and connectors
• Deep sector knowledge in areas such as Mining, Oil & Gas, High-Tech, Pharma, or Public Sector

Preferred additional skills

• Experience in finance transformation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
