Louis Brier Home and Hospital, located in Vancouver, is seeking a Manager, Facilities & Capital Projects to lead maintenance, facility projects, and safety programs. This role ensures compliant operations of building systems, coordinates capital improvements, and manages budgets and contractors.
The position reports to the Director of Operations and requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a focus on quality care through well-maintained infrastructure.
Located in the Oakridge area of Vancouver, B.C., Louis Brier Home and Hospital is a 215-bed accredited Long Term care facility situated next to the Weinberg Residence, which is home to 40 Assisted Living and 20 Multilevel Care residents.

The Manager, Facilities & Capital Projects is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all building operations, maintenance, and facility-related projects within the Louis Brier Home and Hospital and Weinberg Residence. The role ensures that all physical assets, systems, and infrastructure are maintained in compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, accreditation requirements, and organizational objectives.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Manager, Facilities & Capital Projects provides leadership to maintenance personnel, contractors, and service providers while supporting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Salary Range: $78,149 to $112,340
The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education and experience, and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan. Most successful candidates start in the developing range.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 to 16:30
