FNHA in Metro Vancouver is seeking a Manager, Evaluation to lead planning and delivery of evaluation services across FNHA. This maternity leave backfill offers a chance to step into a management role and guide a skilled team, coordinating with health system partners.

The Manager, Evaluation provides operational leadership and oversight for the planning, coordination, and delivery of evaluation services across the FNHA. Working closely with and reporting to the Director, the Manager supports the implementation of FNHA's evaluation plan by coordinating and overseeing the delivery of evaluation activities and deliverables. This includes managing evaluation projects from scoping to reporting, supporting capacity-building, coordinating consultant work, and ensuring evaluation activities are culturally responsible and aligned with FNHA priorities and goals.

Location

Metro Vancouver office, located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil- Waututh Nations. (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA's flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027

About The Role

Working closely with and reporting to the Director, Evaluation, Performance & Reporting, the Manager, Evaluation provides operational leadership and oversight for the planning, coordination, and delivery of evaluation services across FNHA. This maternity leave backfill presents an opportunity to step into a management role or broaden leadership experience. The successful candidate will manage a skilled and collaborative team, oversee a diverse portfolio of evaluations, and build relationships with teams across FNHA and health system partners. This role offers significant exposure to organizational priorities and strategic decision-making, with opportunities to support evidence-informed planning, organizational learning, continuous quality improvement, and reciprocal accountability. In addition, the successful candidate will contribute to the continued evolution of culturally responsive evaluation practices and the strengthening of evaluation capacity across FNHA in support of First Nations health and wellness priorities.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have/be;

Education

• Relevant Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills & Experience

• Significant, recent, relevant management experience
• Significant, recent, and relevant and progressive evaluation experience, including planning, developing and implementing comprehensive evaluations (usually acquired over period of 6-8 years).
• Experience providing strategic expert advice.
• Experience utilizing various evaluation methodologies

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full-time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
