• 5-7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent

Responsabilidades

• Design dashboards with appropriate data extraction, cleaning and visualization techniques.
• Provide insights through reporting and data visualization.
• Research and apply continuous improvement in data visualization to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and evaluate existing visualization systems to improve them.
• Develop data visualizations of large data sets to facilitate intuitive presentation for decision makers.
• Document data flow, systems and processes to improve design and management of BI processes.
• Develop tools and deliver training for reporting tools and self-serve analytics by non-analytical users.
• Focus is on EARS BI Platform with potential enterprise-wide scope as needed.
• Provide specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.

Job Description

The Manager, EARS, plays a critical role in maximizing the value of the EARS Business Intelligence Platform an enterprise analytics and performance reporting solution that provides business leaders with data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making by leading key initiatives that drive efficient strategic decision-making across the organization. Working closely with Business, Strategy, Finance, and Technology teams, this role oversees specific end-to-end operations of this business intelligence solution through to the development of analytical products and insight generation. The Manager leads key platform initiatives, including the delivery of new capabilities, release orchestration, and continuous process improvement, while ensuring strong governance, data integrity, and effective controls. The role also serves as a bridge between business and development teams, translating business requirements into clear technical specifications and delivery plans that enable development teams to efficiently build high-quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designs dashboard solutions ensuring the most appropriate data extraction, data cleaning and data visualisation techniques.
• Provides value through insights, reporting and data visualization techniques.
• Selects, configures and implements analytics solutions for consistency and repeatability.
• Researches and applies continuous improvement in data visualization by identifying trends and patterns to transform raw data into actionable business insights.
• Works with different teams, management and stakeholders to enhance the usability and aesthetic appeal of data analytics solutions deployed in the organization.
• Translates business needs to technical specifications and evaluates existing data visualization systems to improve them.
• Develops data visualizations of "large" amounts of data that facilitate the intuitive presentation of data to decision makers.
• Documents data flow, systems and processes to improve the design, implementation and management of business/group processes.
• Develops tools and delivers training programs for use of reporting tools and self-serve analytics by non-analytical end users; may include delivery of training to audiences.
• Focus is to EARS Business Intelligence Platform; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus as required.
• Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.
• Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
• Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
• Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Salary

Salary: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position. BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
