BDO Canada is seeking a Manager, Dynamics 365 F&O Finance Consulting to join our fast-paced and growing Dynamics 365 F&O consulting practice, with the ability to work from anywhere in Canada.
Responsibilities will include:
- Talent
- Support the addition of new talent through participation in the recruitment process
- Ongoing mentoring and coaching of the team including performance management and career guidance
- Team utilization planning and forecasting
- Ensuring our professionals have the skills, experience, and capacity required to deliver our service offerings
- Engagements
- Act as a trusted advisor to external customers and BDO project teams in support of client Dynamics F&O Finance implementations
- Manage multiple engagements against budget, timeline, and scope
- Monitor and manage vendor relationships where applicable.
- Lead internal and external action planning meetings and drive deliverables to closure
- Act as an escalation contact on and off hours as needed and manage customer satisfaction or delivery concerns
- Build deep relationships with clients and assist in expanding engagement footprint when opportunities present
- Analyze customer business needs and objectives, providing in-depth application expertise in targeted business areas
- Streamline customer business processes to achieve greater ROI within the Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations suite
- Operations
- Ensure effective delivery of operations and high customer service
- Support the evolution of tools and operational procedures through continuous improvement
- Update, establish, track, and report on Key Performance Indicators supporting operational excellence
- Growth
- Participate in pre-sales presentations, pricing, and proposals
- Assist in development and implementation of new service offerings
- Contribute to and lead aspects of the practice's annual business plan

Your experience and education
- Minimum 5+ years of Dynamics 365 F&O consulting experience, with strong expertise in finance
- Experience managing Dynamics 365 F&O projects and leading functional consultants
- Extensive functional knowledge in finance modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Currency Management
- Knowledge of Budgeting, Project Budgeting, and Project Management
- Knowledge of other Dynamics 365 F&O functional areas like Trade & Logistics, Sales, or HR is preferred
- Relevant certifications in Dynamics 365 F&O / AX are considered an asset
- Self-motivated, articulate, and inspiring
- Experience in process analysis, redesign, and documentation
- Experience with functional design, configuration, and process alignment, including working with ISVs like Dynaway and SKG
