As a Tax Manager in our Domestic Tax team, you’ll work with a wide variety of clients and build your experience in new industries. Working with some of Canada’s top gurus in tax, a career at Doane Grant Thornton is an opportunity to create your unique career journey.
A typical day may involve talking with the CFO from an agricultural client while the Tax Partner challenges your thinking as you uncover client pain points and propose tax solutions. You’ll share feedback with your coachees to ensure they have what they need to complete their files and feel supported. If you receive a call from a corporate accountant at a national retail client, a quick Teams check‑in with Dave from Indirect Tax, you’ll be ready to plan for tomorrow’s client meeting. And before that, you might stop by the fully stocked fridge for a flavoured sparkling water.
