Qualifications

  • Manages contracts and maintains vendor relationships for service levels and improvements.
  • Supervises staff, including direction, performance management, and development.

The salary range for this position is $101,000 to $139,000. The final offer will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and internal equity considerations. Please note that the offer may fall anywhere within the posted range and is not necessarily at the top end.

Overview:

This position oversees the integration of information infrastructure to client systems and leads product development and life cycle management for service offerings.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Leads the implementation and ongoing maintenance of digital platforms, including setup, testing, configurations, and support activities.
  • Applies and promotes the organization’s system development methodology within assigned projects and teams.
  • Collaborates with service providers to ensure proper use of government technology stack in solutions and services.
  • Prepares system specifications and coordinates release management processes, ensuring alignment with established standards and timelines.
  • Provides input into decisions impacting program outcomes and objectives, focusing on operational feasibility and delivery within defined frameworks.
  • Plans and monitors delivery of digital services within assigned areas, including websites and web services, ensuring effective support for organizational needs.
  • Contributes to the development and monitoring of budgets related to digital products/platforms.
  • Engages stakeholders to build consensus on product requirements and delivery approaches, supporting organizational priorities.
  • Manages delivery and iteration of digital products, leveraging user data and feedback to inform improvements.
  • Provides guidance to staff on web services and digital content, including emerging technologies relevant to service delivery.
  • Manages contracts and maintains effective vendor relationships, ensuring service levels, performance, continuous improvement and integration of services.
  • Identifies and communicates issues, resolutions, and risk mitigation strategies, escalating client concerns as necessary.
  • Supervises staff including directing and assignment of work and performance management, development and evaluation.
  • Develops and streamlines various IT processes to support organizational efficiency.
  • Contributes to IT change management activities by developing communication plans, training materials, and stakeholder engagement strategies to facilitate smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a progressive leader in Technology, Digital services
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the delivery of digital service projects and to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
  • Thorough understanding of data processing and systems.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Experience prioritizing product development and delivery plans to meet user and stakeholder needs.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build positive business relationships with staff and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail.
