WCLC is seeking a Creative Project Manager to lead the Studio function, overseeing intake, prioritization, resourcing, and delivery of creative work for marketing campaigns and organizational priorities.

You will work with internal stakeholders, agency partners and a small in‑house team to ensure work is delivered on time, to a high standard, and with continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of experience managing creative projects in agency, production, marketing, or in‑house teams.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and workflow coordination abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship building across levels.
  • Experience managing external agencies, freelancers, or vendors.
  • Proactive problem solver with a practical mindset.

Job description

We're looking for a Creative Project Manager to lead WCLC's Studio function, our internal creative services, production, and delivery team. This role is responsible for overseeing the intake, prioritization, resourcing, and delivery of creative work that supports marketing campaigns, communications initiatives, provincial partner needs, and organizational priorities.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, agency partners, and a small in-house creative team, you'll ensure work is delivered efficiently, on time, and to a high standard while continuously improving the processes, systems, and partnerships that enable great creative outcomes.

What You'll Do
Studio Operations & Delivery
  • Lead the intake, prioritization, planning, resourcing, and delivery of creative services across Marketing & Communications.
  • Manage workflow, capacity, budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Establish and continuously improve processes, service standards, and operating practices that support effective creative delivery.
Team Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small in-house creative team.
  • Set priorities, manage workload, and foster a collaborative, accountable, and service-oriented culture.
  • Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Stakeholder Partnership
  • Partner with Marketing, Communications, executives, provincial partners, and business stakeholders to understand priorities and align resources.
  • Provide guidance on scope, timelines, production requirements, and delivery expectations.
  • Build trusted relationships that ensure creative services are responsive, effective, and aligned with business objectives.
Agency & Vendor Management
  • Manage relationships with agencies, freelancers, production partners, and other external vendors.
  • Coordinate briefs, timelines, approvals, and production requirements.
  • Balance internal and external resources to meet business needs while maintaining quality and creative integrity.
What You'll Bring
  • 8-10 years’ experience managing creative projects in an agency, production, marketing, communications, or in-house creative environment.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholder needs in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and workflow coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience managing external agencies, freelancers, or vendors.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a knack for finding practical solutions.
  • Confidence leading meetings, managing expectations, and keeping projects on track.
  • Experience leading or mentoring team members is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project management or collaboration tools.
