Job summary

The University of Toronto’s Temerty Faculty of Medicine is seeking a Manager, Core Research Operations for the Office of the Vice Dean, Research, Innovation & Health Science Education. The role supports operational management, development, and administration of the faculty’s core research facilities.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant scientific discipline, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of related research administration and operations experience at a university or hospital research institute.
• Research management experience in a basic research institute, including experience supporting core research facilities.
• Experience with financial, resource, and human resources management; research funds and infrastructure grants; and leading and supervising teams.
• Advanced proficiency with M365 and knowledge of chemical and biological research hazards.
