We are currently looking to fill the position of Manager, Continuous Improvement within the Nova Scotia Power Safety Department.
We are getting ready to lead the largest transformation in the history of our company. Our goal is to reach 80% renewable electricity sales by 2030. This means that we will have to transform our current processes and how we deliver clean energy to help build a greener economy.

Key elements of this role include:
Reporting to the Senior Director, Safety, the Manager, Continuous Improvement leads a team of direct and indirect reports and consultants to identify, develop and execute continuous improvement projects within the Safety department. Included in continuous improvement initiatives is process mapping, standardization and improvement, identification, development and reporting of key performance indicators, document control and management of the implementation of technology projects. The Manager, Continuous Improvement will take a data-driven approach to opportunity identification and target setting and will implement and sustain strategic initiatives from initiation to completion using structured continuous improvement, project management and change management methodologies. As a key member of the Safety leadership team, the Manager, Continuous Improvement actively contributes to regular department strategic planning activities and ensures that workplans are aligned with both department and corporate strategic objectives.
As a collaborative leader, you are focused on establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the business to successfully execute identified improvement opportunities both within the Safety department and for safety-related processes that impact other business units. You proactively seek opportunities to continuously improve the systems, processes, technologies and reporting that reinforce safety as our top priority, helping to advance a culture of continuous improvement within the Safety team.
