Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (CC&L FG) is seeking a Manager, Constraints Governance & Process Engineering to build and scale a governance capability within Portfolio Compliance. You will design scalable processes, automation, and controls across the investment-constraint lifecycle and partner with multiple teams to deliver measurable improvements.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, data-driven decision making, and governance documentation to support sustainable, scalable growth.

Qualifications

5+ years in an asset management environment or related discipline.
Strong understanding of process design, workflow management, governance practices.
Experience with investment constraint lifecycle, compliance monitoring, or related governance activities.
Proven track record in process improvement, technology implementation, automation, or business transformation.

Responsibilities

Help build and operationalize the Constraints Governance Framework, including processes, controls, standards, and governance practices for investment restrictions.
Develop subject matter expertise on the investment constraint lifecycle governance processes, workflows, and controls.
Partner with Portfolio Compliance, Front Office, Product, Legal, and Operations to translate requirements into clear processes.
Establish governance workflows for intake, interpretation, approval, coding, testing, implementation, and review of constraints.
Identify inefficiencies and automate them to simplify and strengthen controls.
Design and support workflow and automation solutions using Power Automate and other technologies.
Gather requirements and work with technology teams to implement improvements.
Coordinate testing, implementation, and change management activities.
Design and implement reporting using Power BI to provide visibility into KPIs and operational metrics.
Develop governance documentation, operating procedures, maps, and materials for consistency and scalability.
Support strategic initiatives within Portfolio Compliance and Operations Risk.
