Role: Commission Sales Manager

The Commission Sales Manager is responsible for acquiring and servicing new clients for event hosting. This includes selling and managing all market segments such as social, non-profit, corporate, nightlife, in-suite, and wedding markets.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect, sell, contract, and service sales events as assigned. Attend industry and networking events, conduct telemarketing, advertise, and reach out to competitors' client bases.
  • Draft proposals and negotiate contracts with clients.
  • Contact potential clients, work directly with them on planning, billing, and event requirements.
  • Create Event Orders (BEO, WEO, HEO, etc.) to communicate event details and staffing needs, supporting and managing events onsite as necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive files on all upcoming and past events as per departmental standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Additional Requirements
  • Flexible with varying shifts and schedules, including holidays and weekends.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages such as French are preferred.
  • Able to pass a background check.
  • Must be 19 years or older.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience with a proven track record, preferably in luxury resort settings. Exceptional guest service skills and a high sense of urgency are required.
