Responsibilities

  • Actively manage client budgets and track spend across accounts.
  • Lead staff forecasting, adjusting planned hours in regular meetings.
  • Contribute to forecasting with monthly targets based on tracking.
  • Collaborate with Client Experience and procurement on financial reporting and project scopes.
  • Manage expense tracking and project trackers with regular reconciliations.
  • Guide monthly account billing and invoices with Finance and Billing.
  • Develop new templates and tracking systems to improve processes.

Weber Shandwick’s Toronto office has a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented Manger, Client Reporting. This role is responsible for working within account teams to provide support to projects and campaigns through the management of financial tracking systems, including resource planning, client scopes, and client financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage client budgets and track spend across several account portfolios and projects.
  • Manage the staff forecasting system for your accounts, leading regular meetings to adjust planned hours.
  • Contribute to account forecasting, recommending monthly targets based on your financial tracking.
  • In collaboration with Client Experience, work closely with clients and client procurement team to provide financial reporting and manage approval of project scopes.
  • Manage expense tracking including setting up trackers for projects and regular reconciliation.
  • In partnership with Finance and Billing teams, guide monthly account billing and invoices for your accounts.
  • Develop new templates, tracking systems or process based on gaps or opportunities you see within an account

Preferred Experience:

  • 3-5 years in a business and financial management role.
  • Requires client service acumen.
  • Critical thinking ability, to connect activities with their impact and assess risks.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and writing) required.
  • Must be able to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines. Able to multi-task with a variety of projects and tasks.
  • Agency experience required, public relations preferred.
  • Proficient to advanced Excel.
  • Comfort with AI tools.

Salary Range:$65,000 – $75,000
