Location:Toronto, Saskatoon, Calgary, or Vancouver – Hybrid/Remote Options

Are you a skilled financial professional with expertise in credit structuring, risk analysis, and client relationship management? Do you have a passion for navigating the complexities of CSV lending and insurance financing? I am recruiting on behalf of one of my most valued clients and we are seeking aManager, Strategic Client Creditto join their innovative team and play a pivotal role in securing financing solutions for their clients’ sophisticated insurance needs.

About the Role:
As theManager, Strategic Client Credit, you will lead efforts to secure financing for premium insurance solutions, including leveraged life insurance structures and Immediate Financing Arrangements (IFAs). Working closely with financial institutions, clients, and cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure seamless lending processes and exceptional outcomes. This role combines analytical precision with strategic collaboration, offering the opportunity to influence both client success and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with financial institutions to secure financing for life insurance policies.
  • Assess client creditworthiness through in-depth analysis of financial statements and credit reports.
  • Develop and present customized lending proposals that align with client needs and insurance structures.
  • Partner with sales and operations teams to facilitate timely funding and address lending challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lending partners and clients.
  • Monitor ongoing lending processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and transaction accuracy throughout the credit lifecycle.
  • Contribute to team initiatives and special projects, driving continuous innovation.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field (CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent designations are a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial banking, private banking, corporate finance, or credit analysis.
  • Expertise in insurance and IFA credit structures.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and deliver actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with both traditional and alternative lenders.
  • Familiarity with financial and insurance regulatory frameworks.
  • Additional certifications in finance or insurance.
