Job Summary

Under the direction of the Senior Sales Manager or VP of Cement Sales, the Cement Sales Manager primarily interfaces with customers and potential customers, managing issues related to sales and potential sales of CEMEX products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Learn about various customer segments and understand the construction sector related to economic metrics.
  • Grow the existing customer base and develop opportunities within current accounts to capture new business.
  • Build rapport and communicate effectively across all levels of customer organizations.
  • Provide technical support to customers regarding their inquiries.
  • Communicate pricing information and develop market price strategies collaboratively with the Vice President of Cement Sales.
  • Coordinate with accounting and logistics to resolve customer issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in the building materials industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions

Long periods of standing or walking, exposure to dust, noise, extreme temperatures, and long driving periods.

Physical Requirements

  • Walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and fingering.
  • Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently.
  • Must communicate effectively via talking and hearing.
