Job Summary

Under the direction of the Senior Sales Manager or VP of Cement Sales, the Cement Sales Manager will interface with customers and potential customers, handling sales-related issues of CEMEX products.

Responsibilities

  • Learn about various customer segments and understand the construction sector's economic metrics.
  • Expand existing customer base and develop new opportunities within current accounts.
  • Build rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of customer organizations.
  • Provide technical support to customers regarding their purchases.
  • Communicate pricing information and develop market price strategies with the Vice President of Cement Sales.
  • Coordinate with accounting and logistics to resolve customer issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years’ experience in the building materials industry (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions

Long periods of standing, walking, exposure to dust, noise, extreme temperatures, and long driving hours.

Physical Requirements

  • Walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and fingering.
  • Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force.
  • Regular communication via talking and hearing.
