Manager, Canadian Wealth Management Finance

The Manager for Canadian Wealth Management Finance is responsible for monthly financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and annual branch planning for ScotiaMcLeod Full-Service Brokerage. Additionally, provide support for finance-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely delivery of monthly financial reports and analysis.
• Prepare forecasts and support senior management decisions.
• Oversee real estate lease administration and reimbursements.
• Manage monthly journal entries and ensure financial accuracy.
• Lead annual planning, including template development, review, and system loading.
• Prepare and deliver the Branch Manager Report package monthly.
• Assist with special projects and business analysis to support strategic initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA) or equivalent experience.
• Detail-oriented, results-focused, with strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Wealth Management services and operations.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software (OBI, Hyperion, PeopleSoft).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player willing to collaborate and assist others.
