About the Role

As the Manager, Business Development and Partnerships, you’ll be instrumental in driving the growth of our partner ecosystem. You will manage and strengthen existing partnerships while identifying and securing new collaborations aligned with our vision. Your market understanding will help propose innovative tools and solutions to unlock scalable opportunities. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams—product, operations, data, and sales—to develop and execute partnership strategies that produce lasting results. You will report directly to the VP of Partnerships and play a key role in shaping our strategic direction and growth.

Jerry is building the first super app to help people optimize all aspects of owning a car—insurance, buy/sell, registration, loans, safety, repairs, parking, etc.—a $2T market in the U.S. Since launching in 2019, we’ve expanded our services, amassed over 5M customers, raised $240MM, scaled revenue 60X, and grown our team to 225 across 6 countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster Partner Relationships: Build and nurture trusted relationships with existing partners, serving as their primary contact for long-term success.
  • Drive Strategic Growth: Develop and implement business plans and quarterly OKRs that align with partner goals to maximize partnership potential.
  • Optimize Performance: Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improving KPIs, guiding smarter decision-making.
  • Generate New Opportunities: Lead negotiations and create new growth avenues with current and potential partners.
  • Deliver Insights: Provide regular analysis and updates to partners and internal teams to keep everyone aligned.
  • Resolve Challenges: Address operational issues swiftly to ensure smooth collaboration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
  • 4+ years in Business Development, Partnerships, or Management Consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG preferred).
  • Experience managing complex projects from start to finish with attention to detail.
  • Proactive, diligent, eager to learn, and adaptable.
  • Data-driven with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
