Job summary

Tangerine is recruiting a Manager, AI & Data Science in Toronto to advance predictive, prescriptive, and cognitive analytics. You will partner with business, product, digital, CRM, and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions and improve customer targeting and decisioning.

You will design and monitor Next-Best-Action capabilities, model development, and production-ready analytics that support acquisition, growth, engagement, and retention. Strong collaboration and governance are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science, engineering, or related quantitative field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in analytics, AI/ML, data science, or advanced modelling.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Python, BigQuery, GCP, Vertex AI, SQL, or similar platforms.
• Strong ability to translate data into practical business recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support Tangerine’s analytics capabilities by delivering scalable predictive, prescriptive, and cognitive models.
• Develop and operationalize models to support automated insights and real-time decisioning.
• Lead analytics delivery for business use cases including opportunity sizing and scenario analysis.
• Coach and develop AI & Data Science team members, building capability and discipline.
• Translate complex analytics into clear business recommendations for stakeholders.
